I buy the French baguette at Costco. They are delicious but dry out overnight. So I tried wrapping them up in a towel I sprinkle with cold water, put them back in their original bag, then in a large plastic bag. Bingo, they stay fresh for at least 4-5 days. I use them everyday until gone and rewear after each use making sure the towel is still moist. It works for me.
