Well duh! I have a collection of tools for printmakinig, abstract art and collage, and for pottery (some are baking tools, actually, like patterned rolling pins), but I never thought of using anything of the sort for cookies. I almost always grab a fork or smooth bottomed jar or glass. It never dawned on me to seek out something with a pattern. Thanks for the fun tip, and for a great excuse to make cookies!
