Apparently my sourdough starter is very different than KA’s. Mine is a hand me down from my grandmother and several decades old. I don’t have any flour in my starter just sugar and potato flakes so it is watery, not thick and definitely could NOT be used as a batter. Any suggestions on how much flour to try adding in order to get a batch of these wonderful looking crumpets?
