Hi, I learn so much from your tips! I have two suggestions that may be helpful. One is to take note of the recipe you are using. The ones from King Arthur Flour are usually spot on about baking time. My second suggestion is very helpful because it takes into consideration the oven you are using. Once I have baked a cake, I note on the recipe how long it took to be done in my oven. I also make any comments regarding baking time about changes I have made to the recipe. For example, if I have added nuts, fruit, or baking chips to the original recipe I include that information as I am unlikely to remember exactly what I did each time.
