Do you think this recipe would work well with vegan substitutions? When I "veganize" recipes, I normally substitute Earth Balance for the butter, though it is a bit saltier, Ener-G egg replacer for eggs, and soy milk for milk. Normally, I would just give it a try, but it's been challenging to find flour lately. I don't want to waste 3 cups of flour if the veganized recipe wouldn't work well. Thanks for your time!
