This question is about the rest time both for this recipe and others I've seen out there. I've always worried that waiting would cause the leavening to peter out after a time. If there a guideline for how long baking soda or baking powder batters can sit before that becomes a concern? Does keeping them at room temp or in the fridge affect that time recommendation?
