Cream cheese icing can be kept in the fridge, airtight, for up to a week. Freezing can be tricky, this icing tends to pick up scents and flavors from the freezer more easily, and can become runny after thawing. Bakers are often divided over freezing cream cheese, so try it with a little of your icing and see how you feel about it after thawing.
