Thank you, Susan for this article about vinegar in pie crust! My current favorite version of homemade pie crust includes white vinegar and for me, I must add it. My pie crust journey is well over 60 years. I clearly recall the steps my mom took in making pie crust! I also appreciated your info about the gray dough! I have thrown out lots of it because I was afraid it was stale. I make about 2 big batches of pie crust, portion it, and freeze it ! Thanks again for the great information!
