We're glad you're no stranger to Sticky Bun Sugar, Lavonna. Storing the sugar in an airtight container is one of the best ways to keep it fresh and usable. It's true, however, that in humid weather it can clump easily. Try to keep the container closed as much as possible; take what you need for your recipe and then seal away the rest. If you find that the sugar does harden a bit, you can pulse it in a food processor before using to return it to a powdered state. We've also heard from some bakers who store a marshmallow in with their Sticky Bun Sugar; it's hygroscopic, which means it absorbs excess moisture and can help keep the sugar soft. It's worth a shot!
