Hi Jennie, you can certainly use your bread machine on the dough cycle to knead the dough and carry it through the first rise, and this is likely to give you the best results. If you want to make one of our bread mixes all the way through in your bread machine, this is our preferred method: Place ingredients into bucket. Program for Basic or White Bread setting, 1 ½ -lb loaf, light crust. Press start. After 10 minutes, lift the lid and scrape down the sides of the bucket. If the dough is very sticky, add up to 2 tablespoons additional flour. If the dough seems stiff or you see dry flour in the bucket still, add up to 2 additional tablespoons liquid. Your goal is a soft, smooth, slightly tacky dough.
Close lid, allow machine to complete its cycle. Makes one loaf.
