Dear PJ, Thanks ever so much for your assiduous efforts through the years to bring good baking to all. I've appreciated your tips and tricks, good technique for well nigh 20 years. Tangzhong; what a marvelous development and interesting science too. The thick paste formed from this technique I think shouldn't be called a slurry however which in my experience as a contractor has a very specific meaning which is much looser than your photo shows. A slurry is a thick coating which can be brushed on as a first coat to facilitate traction bonding for a thicker troweled on layer. Perhaps call it a paste or some such. As always, thanks again.
