Hi Carlsbad neighbor! The wild yeast is probably laid back here, as it took me about a month to get mine going. I’m a fairly inexperienced sourdough baker, but I don’t have any problems with my starter now, mine is vigorous and rises about 3-4 times each feeding cycle.
