Can you please help, I'm worried. Today is day 9 of my sourdough starter. I noticed before I was going to feed it that the top of it wasn't shiny. It usually is shiny from what I remember, I think. I put my spatula in the jar and started to stir and below it was shiny. There was no change in color and it didn't have such a vinegar smell as the days prior. One thing though, yesterday my starter jar was in the oven and my husband turned it on not knowing. When I noticed it, I took it out and check the temperature. It was at least 100. Don't know the exact temperature. I took the lid off and so it can get the warm air out of the jar and put it the refrigerator for a few minutes. It still has bubbles yesterday and today. Should I be concerned about my starter?
