Hi Tim, if you're measuring your flour and water by weight I would not recommend increasing the amount of flour to alter the consistency. The starter does tend to thin out in consistency prior to the yeast kicking in, so this could actually be a good sign! I would keep weighing your ingredients and feeding according to the recipe.
