Had two rye starters going. Missed one day of feeding because of a long day at work. Both molded. The temperature at which they had been held decreased due to the weather, and was wondering if that is the probable culprit, or if both were contaminated. I made the second from the first. Both would have reached the 10 day mark of maturation. Molds are different color in each though, one dark and the other really light, almost white.
