Regarding lames. The dulling of razor blades is a result of corrosion or rust on the cutting edge. Today's disposable razors and the flex able blades sold today are made with low level steel and rust quickly. Even in the package. I recommend always start with a new blade and never use one that has been around for more than a few months. Also a lame with a fixed blade is to be avoided. Thanks for your advice. It will be a big help slashing.
