We sure do have savory filling suggestions, Jean! We have so many ideas, we even have a full blog post about this topic called, "Baking Savory Rugelach." The author, Posie, offers some mighty delicious combinations, including cheddar cheese and pecan; fig, walnut, and blue cheese; bacon, egg, and cheddar; pumpkin and parmesean; garlic, ricotta, and herb; basil pesto and sun-dried tomatoes... the list goes on!
