It's a good sign when a baked good goes too fast to photograph, Lani! Next time, we'd suggest using a thinner layer of jam to prevent it from leaking out. You could also consider heating the jam with added cornstarch or flour to thicken it up a bit more before cooling and spreading, but the amount used will still make a difference.
