I love the butter/buttermilk recipe. Have made it many times as a complement to soup. My biscuits do NOT get as brown as what you have shown here in the article. I have moved them to the top rack for the last few minutes of baking, but they are just barely brown, they are very light. Do you brush them with additional melted butter before baking?
