Interesting! I put too much water in mine at the start, so I had super sticky wet dough. I covered with a damp towel and rested the dough in my oven with just the light on. Much to my delight, when I dumped it onto the floured surface after 90 minutes, it was dough! Not glue! Thanks for explaining plastic wrap v/s cloth. Was a happy accident for me. My loaves are now resting, oven and stone and iron skillet heating. I am so excited. Wish me luck! What a fun experiment for a non-baker. I watched an old Julia Child episode with Nancy Silverton and between that and this great instruction and a GREAT product (use KAF y’all!), I am confident this will be a baguette victory!
