Having grown up with a chef for a mom I grew up cooking beside her. Then when I moved to Hawaii in order to lead a nonprofit program I came across an original recipe for B.B. which includes local bananas which are much better than the mass produced ones from S. America. In addition to our local nuts and fruits it all makes for an amazing array of pristine ingredients to work with. So what’s the outcome? Well, the only thing that’s more bland than Midwestern Hot Dish is our bragging therefore I can only tell you what others have said; “Amazing”, “ absolutely the best banana bread I’ve ever had!”, “It brought a tear to my eye”. I personally think it’s good especially the Mac nut n chocolate chip with passion fruit. We grow our own passionfruit so I started putting it in the banana bread and it really does make for a better outcome. So if anyone would like to try it for yourself I’ll sell a loaf for $10 donation to Arc of Maui County. Aloha Rob
