I’ve never understood why both manufacturers or recipe writers using the imperial system don’t specify fluid ounces when they mean fluid ounces! Us people in metric countries trying to determine if the 8oz measurement in a recipe is intended to be weight or volume are perpetually confused… but I have never seen fluid oz specified, even if I can fairly confidently divine that is in fact what they mean. Anyone know why??!!
