Greetings from chilly Vermont, where it's currently 54F, 12C!
While we'd love to say that the sugar and alcohol will be enough, at the temperatures you've mentioned it will really be best to keep the cakes in refrigeration as well as soaking them. Thanks for checking in with us, swing by (virtually) any time!
