My pretty fruit on top of my fruitcake sank down below and doesn't show at all after 45 min. in the 260 degree oven. I did flour the fruit inside the cake, but not the ones I sat aside for decorating the top! Help! My second attempt at baking fruitcake since 1979! I am set on making it until I get it down pat! Thanks!
