I’m an expat Brazilian and for nostalgic reasons I like to use Brazilian Galas, every time I get my hands on those. Apple pies aren’t a Brazilian tradition, and I’m not much of a cook, but judging by the comments I read, I got lucky with my choice: the sweetness and the consistency are perfect for my taste!
