From Michigan, I leaned to bake apple pie about 60 years ago. Prefer the Northern Spy. Now that I live In Illinois, I preorder from a Michigan orchards and have apples shipped to myself (and to others for holiday gifts.). Happy Baking. And do learn to make your own crust.
