I prefer gravensteins for pie, but they have a very short season. So I planted Sweet Sixteen and Bonnie Best, to lengthen the apple pie season. I didn't know what to expect, but they make great pies! My Honeycrisp hasn't produced yet, but I saw some good reviews so I'll be making Honeycrisp next near, I hope.
