I just made a batch of doughnuts using a very similar recipe. My problem was the first batch came out of the fryer a nice golden brown, but was underdone in the middle. I tried a slightly longer cooking time in the 350-degree oil, but that resulted in a properly done inside but somewhat overdone outside. Any suggestions?
