I wondered why the first loaf I baked with quick rise tasted yeasty but the second loaf from the same recipe was made with plain active dry, not quick type. I liked the second loaf much more - I don't care for the bread to taste yeasty. I wish I saw this before I just made a third loaf and used the quick rise yeast. Oh, well - next time I will know better.
