Hi Terry, sorry for the confusion! We used to include the weight of ingredients in ounces as well as grams in our recipes, hence the ounce measurements in this blog post. I'll pass along your request that we update this blog to include gram weights. In the meantime, we generally measure a cup of sourdough starter as weighing 227g. If you wanted to add a cup of starter to a recipe, you would want to subtract 113g of flour and 114g of liquid from the recipe.
