Hi there, Kelly! Unless your starter is much thinner than shown in the photos above, it should be just fine to follow the substitution recommendations given in the article. The only time you'd really need to adjust is if you had a stiff starter or a starter with a really high hydration (higher than 100%). We hope this helps and happy baking!
