I freeze almost all my cookies before cooking. But I freeze them in “logs” wrapped in plastic. They can be cut whilst still frozen. My mother did that except she used waxed paper (well before the days of plastic wrap). She would bake them in the morning so I had fresh cookies in my lunch at school! I think the texture of cookies are better after freezing. I’ve never thought of the sections of paper so thank you!
