Hi Beverly, you're welcome to try putting your grocery store rolls on a baking sheet, brushing them with an egg white wash, and heating them at 400°F for about 10-15 minutes. This should help brown the tops and may crisp them up a bit too. However, it's also possible that this will dry out the rolls too. You might be best off making your own crusty rolls at home.
