I was in search of an Everyday Biscuit and stumbled across your Everything Biscuit. I liked the fact that it used Self Rising flour so I got a bag of KA's and made them this morning minus the Everything topping and the buttermilk powder which I didn't have. They rose nicely and tasted very good but they were a bit crumbly. I was able to slice the first one horizontally right out of the oven but the top half of the second one crumbled a bit when I sliced it (it was cooler than the first because it had sat a few minutes). What would make this biscuit crumble like that?
