Thanks for the fabulous tips, I've experimented over the years with chips, spices, flavor extracts and oils, and toppings, but I'm always looking for new ways to jazz up our old favorite quick breads. I love the idea of marmalades or preserves or caramel sauce added in, I've never thought of that and can't wait to try! I'm planning to bake breakfast bread tomorrow and always have peeled, frozen bananas in the freezer, and now you've inspired me to try something new instead of the same old lime-coconut-rum or bananas foster banana bread variations I've been making for years - thanks King Arthur, you never let me down!
