Congratulations, and thank you for sharing, Lauren! My first batch was incredibly good, but made with heavy whipping cream AND I "baked" them on parchment paper on my Blackstone griddle. Yowza, were they good!!! But now I'm trying lower fat alternatives :-). Will try your buttermilk version in my next batch!
