Paska (pascha) in Russia is NOT a crustless cheesecake. It is Farmer cheese mixed with eggs, sugar, vanilla, dried fruit, and nuts. It is pressed dry and molded into a shape resembling a tomb. Usually decorated with the letters XB...in cyrillic stand Christos Voskrese...Christ is Risen. Paska, as described here, is known as kulich in Russia. Frosted with confectioners sugar and lemon. Also usually decorated with XB.
