I seldom buy bread and have tried lots of recipes over the years. The white bread recipe that came with my Zo bread machine works perfect almost every time. But I never "set & forget". I check to make sure the dough is neither too wet or too dry & compensate accordingly. Other recipes (KAs are usually excellent) sometimes don't work as well in the machine so then I take the dough out & finish it the regular way. I have had a number of bread machines since they came out and the Zo is by far the best. That was a great tip for me about a wrinkled top! Didn't know why that was happening.
