I have a cheap Hamilton Beach bread machine and the loaves come out great every time. I use the King Arthur basic white bread recipe for a 2 lb. loaf and it’s always good. I’m actually going to get a second machine so I can do 2 loaves at once instead of 2 back to back. I never have to mess with my dough though in this cheap machine. I do remove the paddle when I’m home to do so. So, if anyone reading this can’t afford an expensive machine (it’s great if you can!) don’t be discouraged. The cheap and even used machines at goodwill are just as great.
