Anyone who would spend hundreds of dollars for a bread machine has little consciousness of the value of comparison shopping. I bought a good bread machine, one that produces good bread loaves consistently from good recipes, for about $35.00. The brand name is Home Strata. I don't know if it is still available under that name; certainly not at that price.
