We're so happy to hear that you really connected with this article, Carol! A cast iron Dutch oven may be more difficult when it comes time to pour, not only because of the weight, but also because it's really helpful to have a long handle to hold onto, and not all Dutch ovens are equipped with that type of handle. I'd wait for the right pot to make the process easier for you (and your husband--who can help out with the stirring!).
