Hi Carla, yes, you're correct that if you halved a recipe like our Texas Sheet Cake recipe, you could bake it in a 9" X 13" pan. Keep in mind, however, that this cake will not bake as high as a cake recipe that is geared for the 2" sides of a 9" X 13" pan.
