Alana, we're sorry you're having trouble with this method. As we mention in the article, there are many techniques for getting a flaky and tender piecrust, and it can take some experimentation to find the one that works best for you. It's a little hard to diagnose what went wrong without more information, so we'd ask that you give our Baker's Hotline a call at 855-371-BAKE.
