I'm not sure if anyone mentioned above here, but I learned that after baking, stow the cookies in a closed container and place a fresh slice/slices of bread inside. This keeps the cookies soft and moist. Even seemed to work for burned ones. I'm not a fan of crunchy cookies and this was a good bit of advice!
