My family prefers their CCCs to stand up and not spread out all over the place like a lace cookie. I use Crisco instead of butter. Sandy Patterson Thanks for sharing Sandy. Lots of folks go the Crisco route, or even 50/50. One notable recipe I saw used bacon fat. Not sure how I feel about that, but it sure is interesting. ~ MaryJane
