Frequent diner at Pamela's for many, many years - especially in college, and now with kids! I and my husband can not wait to try this recipe (hopefully soon, and will definitely report back.)
As far as spices, I have nothing to add other than vanilla makes sense, but I don't really notice anything else about them.
It's those edges that keep us coming back, oh, and the super buttery lyonaisse potatoes.
