Re: The Spice. I haven't had these pancakes, but I"ve had the best French toast (in NH) that had just a hint of nutmeg in the batter. Would that inhibit the yeast? Nutmeg would be fine; it's garlic and cinnamon that inhibit yeast. And nutmeg does sound like a "fit," doesn't it? Thanks! PJH
