Congratulations, it sounds like you have a super active starter! Since you now know this about it, you can time your bakes to be 2-4 hours after feeding rather than 6-8. Go ahead and either discard and feed after 12 hours since its last feeding, or just feed it without discarding if you expect to use a lot of starter when you bake. Either works!
