Hi Kate, thanks for reaching out! You're doing great so far; if you've got bubbles, you've got life! But in order to beak bread, you're definitely going to want to see that big doubling in size. You might try switching over to whole wheat feedings once every 24 hours for a bit, instead of all-purpose feedings every 12 hours. This can help to lower the pH of your starter just a touch, and sometimes that's exactly what a slow-to-grow starter needs to help it mature into one that's ready to bake beautiful loaves.
