This might be a dumb question, but I’m new at this. When I’m ready to bake and stop discarding, do I need to weigh my starter and then feed equal parts? If my starter weighs 4 oz, I feed equal parts flour/water, 4 oz each? Then after 12 hours, I will feed my 12 oz starter with 12 oz flour/water? Or, do I just stop discarding and feed 4 oz water/flour at every feeding until I reach the amount I need to bake with and keep?
